About Sarah
Sarah Furuya is the secret coaching sauce behind many influential women and men in Japan and beyond. She's the host of the Legends podcast which is into its sixth season. Sarah's no bullshit attitude is not for everyone, but it is a breath of fresh air. She runs yearlong coaching programs; February is the new January and Shorter Coaching Programs and an intimate mastermind. She also runs leadership journeys and programs for organizations and companies who are serious about real long term sustainable change and leadership development with a difference.
From 2011 to 2013, she was the president of FEW Japan and runs Tokyo's largest clothing swap, just rebranded to Style Swap with the aim of building community conscious consumption and highlighting people doing great things around sustainable commerce. She sits on the Board of Directors for Refugees International and is on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion task force of the British Chamber of Commerce. She has been living and working in Japan since 2001. She is a trained systems coach, is certified in Lumina Spark and Savile Wave Psychometrics, and holds a BSC in human psychology and human biology.
